I recently came across the case of Carlos Melgar-Perez, and one thing that's been bothering me is the location of where his phone and shoe were found. If they were near the apartment complex, does that mean he never made it far after leaving? Or could it be possible someone moved them to mislead investigators? It just seems odd that there were no other indications of his presence in the area. Also, I'm curious about the condition of the shoe and phone—were they damaged, like if there was a struggle, or did they look like they were just dropped? If anyone has more insights or theories, I'd love to hear them!
Has anyone else wondered about the exact timeline of Carlos Melgar-Perez's movements that night? I know witnesses said he was at the South Bridge Apartments and possibly fell from a balcony, but what puzzles me is how quickly he seemed to vanish after that. It doesn't make sense that someone would just disappear without a trace, even if they were intoxicated. If he left on foot, where did he go? I've read that his phone and shoe were found near the complex, but that doesn't really help us understand what happened in those missing minutes or even hours. Sometimes it feels like the simplest clues are just waiting to be uncovered, but the pieces haven't fallen into place yet. Anyone think there could have been more than just bad luck involved that night?
