I’ve been following this case closely, and it’s just so deeply saddening. I keep thinking about the intersection of Lee and Broadway and how it’s now marked by such a tragic event. It's eerie to imagine what must have happened there shortly after 1 a.m. on May 8, 2022. I visit Alexandria from time to time, and my heart aches for the community.
