Has anyone else read about Gregory "Butta" Johnson from New Orleans? It's so touching to hear how much he meant to his family and community. Even though his passing wasn't related to any crime, the way people speak about him really shows the kind of person he was. A father, a brother, a friend, and for many, a beacon of kindness. I can't imagine how hard it must be for his daughters, Angel and Tia, and everyone who considered him family. The fact that even in his passing, the stories about his generous spirit continue to flow, says so much about his character. It's a reminder of how influential one person can be in the lives of so many. His Homegoing Celebration at Law Street Baptist Church seems like it really did justice to his memory. I wanted to post this because even outside the usual discussions we have here, it's important to remember the good people who leave a lasting impact on the world. To anyone who knew him, my thoughts are with you.
