I've been following the discussion, and one aspect of Reginel Golman's case that really stands out to me is the bravery and quick thinking of his girlfriend during such a terrifying situation. It's hard to imagine the shock and fear she must have faced witnessing such a horrific event unfold right in front of her. Despite the immense pressure and trauma, she attempted to get Reginel to safety, trying to drive him to his mom's house. It must have been incredibly difficult to navigate that scenario, especially while dealing with the chaos and urgency of the moment.
I'm also thinking about how vital her account and the evidence from that night were in bringing Johnson to justice. It's clear her cooperation, paired with the video footage and witness testimonies, helped piece together the events leading to Reginel’s tragic death. My heart goes out to her and the rest of Reginel's family as they continue to live with this tremendous loss. It's crucial that we remember the human cost in cases like these and support those who are left to cope with the aftermath.

I've been thinking a lot about those poor kids, Rezyra and Dalayah. Growing up without their dad, Reginel, is going to be tough. He was obviously a dedicated father, working hard as a self-employed mechanic to provide for them. It's just so deeply unfair that they have to face this unimaginable loss at such a young age. I'm hoping that, somehow, they find support and strength from their family and community to carry them through this difficult time. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they must be feeling. Maybe there are support groups or resources in the Marrero area that can help them navigate through their grief? If anyone knows of anything, sharing could really make a difference for these kids and their future.

I've been following the case of Reginel Golman's tragic murder and there's a part of it that really struck me—the strength and determination shown by his girlfriend during those harrowing moments. I can't even begin to imagine the sheer panic and fear she must have felt when Reginel was shot. Her decision to try and drive him to safety amidst such chaos speaks volumes about her courage.
Losing someone in such a violent manner is unimaginable, and my heart goes out to her, Reginel's children, and the rest of his family. It's a reminder of how unpredictable life can be and how, in times of crisis, people often display incredible bravery.
