I was reading about the Vaughn family case, and I can't stop thinking about Blake and his siblings. It's just so terribly sad. I can’t imagine the fears and confusion those kids must have gone through in their final moments. Blake was just eight, with a whole life full of dreams ahead of him. His love for reading and his incredible photographic memory make you realize just how special he was and the future that was stolen from him. I think about how his teachers and friends who saw him every day must feel, knowing that such a bright light was dimmed far too soon. This really brings home the importance of communities supporting each other through unimaginable times like these. Sending love to all who are still affected by this tragedy.
