Has anyone else been following the legal proceedings in the case of Denzell Franklin? I recently read that during the bond hearing, both Jermaine Powell and Joshua Grayer were denied bail, which is a relief to those of us wanting justice for Denzell and his family. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for his loved ones to sit through this and hear details of the night he was taken from them. It must be a small comfort to know that the suspects won't be walking the streets while they await trial. Does anyone here know if there's been any community support or outreach planned for the victims' families during this time? It'd be nice to see some local support initiatives, not just to remember Denzell, but to provide ongoing support to those still affected by such violence. My thoughts are with everyone who's been impacted by this tragedy.
