I’ve been thinking about the courage it must have taken for Abel’s friends in the car to provide statements that helped identify Andrew Zamora. In such a terrifying moment, with one of their own so gravely injured, they still managed to gather enough composure to assist in the investigation. It’s heartbreaking to imagine how they must have felt witnessing this horrific event unfold in front of them. The trauma of losing a friend in such a violent way is something that will undoubtedly stay with them forever. I truly hope they’re receiving adequate support to process what they’ve experienced. Their bravery was crucial in apprehending Zamora quickly, and I admire their strength during such an anguishing time. Abel and his loved ones have been in my thoughts, and I hope justice will bring some peace to his family and friends.
