I came across this case recently and something that's been nagging me is the lack of focus on the extended family. I mean, how does a child go "missing" for over a year without any relatives sounding the alarm? ? Even if the parents were trying to keep things quiet, you’d think an aunt, uncle, or grandparent might have wondered where she was during family gatherings or holidays. Did they just disappear from all family engagements? Or were there deeper issues within the family that trickled down to lead to something this devastating? It makes me question the dynamics and involvement of Kimora’s extended family during this whole ordeal. Has anyone read anything about the family’s perspective or reaction when the truth finally came out? ?
