Does anyone have any updates on Deshawn Thompson's case or thoughts on the shooting itself? It's been years, and I can't help but feel for Deshawn's family and the tough road they've been through without closure. I live not too far from West Garfield Park, and the violence in the area hits close to home. The thought of Deshawn and that young woman sitting on the porch one minute and facing such a terrible situation the next is distressing. Why isn't there more urgency in solving these cases? The mention of a silver SUV seems like an important clue, but it's frustrating that it hasn't led anywhere significant. I hope someone who knows something feels compelled to speak up soon. Every time I pass that block, I think about how senseless and unfair it is. If anyone has any new insights or knows how we can support the Thompson family, please share. The community can't heal without justice for Deshawn.
