Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the little details of the case, and something crossed my mind pertaining to the investigation into David J. Plank's tragic death. With the incident happening near 84th and Stony Island, we know it's a busy intersection with quite a few businesses around. Does anyone know if there were working surveillance cameras in that area? It's frustrating that this crucial detail hasn't been discussed much in the news or public releases. It makes me wonder if the police managed to get any footage from that morning as those snippets can sometimes provide vital leads. I can't begin to imagine the pain his family must be feeling, especially knowing how random and senseless the act was. Hopefully, something as simple as a video could provide the break needed to bring some peace to his loved ones and get justice for David. Anyone with local knowledge or insights into how LE is handling surveillance footage in such cases? Hoping for some updates soon.

I recently came across the case of David J. Plank, and it's been on my mind ever since. David was just trying to go to work, something he did every day, when his life was senselessly cut short. The part that gets me is how such a random act could have such devastating consequences. David wasn't even the intended target, which makes it all the more tragic. It's hard to imagine what his family is going through, knowing that his death was just a cruel twist of fate. What's really shocking is that this happened in broad daylight on a weekday. You'd think that would mean there would be plenty of witnesses or surveillance footage to help catch whoever is responsible. Yet, as far as we know, there have been no arrests. It must be incredibly difficult for the family to have no answers or closure. I live a few states away, but this case really highlights the urgent need to address gun violence across the country. When innocent people like David can be caught in the crossfire, it impacts us all. I truly hope that there will be some progress in the investigation soon. My thoughts are with David's loved ones as they navigate through this difficult time.
