I've been thinking about how Kurtis was taken to Faulkner Hospital first by a relative. I can only imagine the panic and desperation they must have felt trying to help him after such a traumatic event. It breaks my heart to think about how they held on to hope as he was transferred to the trauma center, only for their worst fears to be realized. I hope law enforcement can bring some closure to his family by finding the person responsible. Kurtis deserves justice, and his family deserves answers. Let’s keep sharing what we know and pushing for updates; his family shouldn’t have to endure this pain alone.
Has anyone else been following the Kurtis DePina case from Mattapan? What continues to baffle me is the lack of arrests or suspects after this happened almost six years ago. I can't imagine the toll on Kurtis’s family, especially having to face the holidays each year with unanswered questions. It's infuriating how such a promising young life was cut short, and yet, it seems like there's been silence on the justice front. I’m curious if anyone knows what the community is doing now to keep the case alive and if there’s been any recent push, like vigils or media attention, that could put pressure on getting some answers. Thoughts and prayers remain with his loved ones.

I’ve been following the discussions about Kurtis DePina’s case, and something has been on my mind. I read that Kurtis was initially taken to Faulkner Hospital by a relative. I can't even begin to imagine how terrifying and helpless that must have felt for them. The chaos and panic following such a traumatizing event probably felt unbearable. It's a reminder of how deeply these tragedies affect not just the victims, but everyone around them. Has there been any word on how the family is holding up? It’s awful to see another young life lost, and with his case still unsolved, it must be so hard for them not having any closure or justice. It feels like the least we can do is share and support them in any way possible, maybe by spreading awareness or contributing to their fundraiser. Hoping one day soon they'll get the answers they deserve.
