Did anyone else find it unusual how little coverage Javon’s case received in the media? It feels like it just disappeared, which is a real disservice to his memory and the quest for justice. I’ve read that sometimes cases involving young Black men don’t get the same attention, and it upsets me because Javon was clearly loved by his community and family. The fact that no arrests have been made makes me wonder if there are resources or efforts being overlooked. Is anyone local to the area who can share if there have been any community efforts or vigils? I can only imagine how tough this must be for Javon's loved ones. They deserve answers.
