I really feel for Aliyah and Victor's families as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. I can't stop thinking about how young they both were and how abruptly their lives were taken from them. It's troubling that such a bright life could be extinguished while simply spending time with friends. I'm especially struck by the fact that the community is still searching for answers, and the reluctance of the witnesses to speak up seems to be a major barrier to justice. Had this happened to someone I knew, I'd hope for honesty and courage from any witnesses. It's critical for the community to come together and cooperate with investigators. Their cooperation could be the key to unraveling the mystery of that tragic night. My thoughts go out to everyone affected by this senseless loss, and I hope the truth comes to light soon.
