I've been following China's case closely, and I can't stop thinking about how senseless it all is. It breaks my heart to know she was so close to graduation and starting a new chapter in her life. Her love for fashion and dreams of becoming a cosmetologist showed what a creative and driven person she was. Her nickname "China Doll" seems so fitting, doesn’t it? The aspect I find particularly troubling is how the gun was reportedly being "played with" when it went off. It’s frightening to see how a moment of carelessness can ripple out to destroy so many lives. It makes me wonder what more can be done to educate young people about firearm safety. No one should lose a friend or family member in such a preventable way. My thoughts go out to China's family and friends. From everything I've read, she was an amazing young woman with so much potential ahead of her. It's so important to remember her for the joy and love she brought into the world. If you're from her community, or even if you never knew her, what are some ways you think we can honor her legacy and prevent tragedies like this in the future?
