Just saw a video of the vigil held for Tavish Harris, and it gave me chills. It’s deeply moving to see his community come together to honor him and all the others affected by that tragic night. The overwhelming sense of loss is tangible, but it was also heartwarming to see the strength and unity among his family and friends. They shared some beautiful stories and memories of Tavish, portraying him as a loving and caring person who touched many lives. Lighting those candles and lifting their voices in prayer was a powerful reminder of the human connection that binds us in times of sorrow. I'm continuously hopeful that more information on this case surfaces, bringing justice and a sense of closure to all those who loved him. If anyone was around East Garfield Park that night and saw something, please don’t hesitate to speak up. Tavish and Kevontay Montgomery, along with their families, deserve answers.
