Lieutenant Jerry E. Dragosin, aged 34, was a dedicated officer with the Cambridge Police Department in Ohio. On August 21, 1984, he was fatally shot in the driveway of the police department. The incident occurred when a suspect, who had previously had a handgun confiscated from him, went to the police station to retrieve it.
