I’ve been following the case of Dennis Thomas Jr., and I keep wondering about the role of community involvement in solving these tragic incidents. It’s been over five years, and no arrests have been made, which is incredibly frustrating for all who loved this young man. I understand the Chicago Police are stretched thin with the sheer volume of cases they handle, but it seems like community efforts could be pivotal here. Does anyone know if there have been public forums or community meetings specifically for Dennis's case? Grassroots efforts can sometimes bring fresh eyes or reveal overlooked details. It just seems like any action to engage with locals and encourage them to speak up could potentially unearth new leads. Keeping Dennis's name in the public conversation is crucial. If anyone has participated in or knows of initiatives aimed at keeping his case alive, I would love to hear more about it. Supporting the family and those grieving for Dennis is important, but so is advocating for justice.
