I came across Todd Little’s case while reading about the tragically high number of unsolved homicides in Baltimore in 2007. It's truly overwhelming to think about how many families, like Todd’s, are left without answers or closure. What stood out to me is how much distrust there was—and seemingly still is—between the community and law enforcement. How can we expect justice when people are scared or unwilling to come forward? It's understandable given the circumstances, but it’s so frustrating to see this cycle continue. Todd was just 29. My heart goes out to his family, who must be carrying this unbearable weight every day. I’m wondering what, if anything, has changed in the city since then to build better relationships between residents and the police. Anyone local who can share some insight on that? It's vital for the community to find a path forward that encourages cooperation and builds trust.
