Hey everyone, I've been following the investigation into Malik Z. Thames-El's case, and I can't stop thinking about the immense challenges his family must be facing. It's really frustrating to see how long it took for any substantial progress to be made. I mean, it took 18 months for Alexander Martinez's confession to come to light, and even then, the complexities in the legal process seem daunting. I'm just hoping that with Martinez's interview and the new developments, Malik’s family will find some peace and justice. Does anyone have insights into how the Cook County State's Attorney might proceed from here? It seems like a tough job to sort through all the conflicting accounts. I really feel for his loved ones and hope they eventually get the answers and justice they deserve.
