Has anyone else been looking into the area where Deonte was killed? I’m familiar with Englewood, and the 1200 block of West 70th Street has unfortunately seen a lot of violence over the years. It's really concerning that such a vibrant young life was lost in a place that's supposed to be home. I wonder if there’s any surveillance footage from nearby businesses or residences that could help the investigation. Maybe doorbell cameras or something? It just seems like there were too many eyes not to see something. My thoughts are with Deonte’s family—I can't imagine the pain of not having answers. Let’s hope the detectives are close to getting the breakthrough they need. If anyone from the neighborhood has heard anything, even the smallest detail might help bring justice for Tay and closure for those who loved him.
Has anyone else been following the case of Deonte "Tay" Fleming? It's so difficult to think about the pain his family must be enduring, especially his twin brother, Deandre. Losing someone so suddenly and violently is unimaginable. I read that Deonte was shot in the Englewood neighborhood, which unfortunately is no stranger to violence. My heart goes out to all those who loved him.
I’m curious if there have been any community efforts or vigils in his memory since his passing. Sometimes these gatherings not only honor the victim but also serve to bring attention to the case, potentially leading to new information. It's been a while, and it can be frustrating when justice seems so out of reach. Families shouldn’t have to fight so hard for answers. Has anyone local heard of any updates or support efforts we can amplify?
Has anyone looked into the possible connection between Deonte's murder and other incidents in the Englewood area around that time? I know that part of Chicago has seen its share of violence, and I can't help but wonder if there's a pattern here. Deonte seemed like such a vibrant young man with a bright future, and it's so difficult to see yet another senseless act of violence take someone away from their loved ones. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family, especially his twin brother Deandre, must be feeling. If there are any locals on here with more insight or if anyone's heard updates on the investigation, your input would be greatly appreciated. We all want justice for Deonte and for his family to find some measure of peace.
