Has anyone else been following the details about Vera Howard's case? I’ve been thinking a lot about the timing and the location—early morning in South Chicago. It makes me wonder if the area had any surveillance cameras or if any businesses nearby might have caught something on tape that could be helpful. I know it might be a long shot, but every bit could count. Vera deserved better, and my heart goes out to her family and friends. It's so frustrating not knowing if there’s any progress in the investigation. It feels like there should be more resources or efforts to solve cases like hers, especially since it’s been over three years now. If anyone local can attend, the vigils seem like a powerful way to stand in solidarity with Vera's loved ones and to keep demanding justice. We can’t let her story be forgotten.
