I've been reading about the tragic incident at Lumes Pancake House with Devon Welsh, and it really makes me think about the impact such violence has on the community, especially when it happens in a place where families and friends gather hoping to enjoy a peaceful meal. It feels surreal to think that such a horrifying event can occur in daylight, in a space we usually associate with warmth and safety.
What really struck me about this case, aside from the loss of a life, is the trauma it must have caused for everyone present. For those who were injured and for the witnesses, including children and elders, it'll be really hard to erase those images and feelings.

It's moments like these that remind us how important it is to stand together as a community to support one another and push for changes that hopefully reduce such senseless acts. I really hope the police can work quickly with the evidence they have and bring those responsible to justice. Has anyone else noticed how bold and brazen the attack on Devon Welsh was? The shooters arrived in broad daylight, at a family restaurant, and unleashed a hailstorm of bullets. It's terrifying to think there was no regard for the innocent people around, including children. It’s chilling to imagine being one of the diners there that day. Witnessing such an event must have been incredibly traumatic, and my heart goes out to everyone affected, especially the injured who thankfully are in stable condition. It’s hard to wrap your head around the idea that someone could be so targeted and calculated in their violence. I truly hope the community rallies together and provides any information they can to help solve this case.
