Has anyone else been following Jalen Terry's case in Sauk Village? It’s been over three years now, and it feels like there hasn't been much progress. What’s really concerning is that his murder was one of several in such a short span of time in that area. This pattern of violence is frightening, and I can’t imagine the pain and frustration Jalen's family and friends must be feeling with no answers. I’ve read about the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force getting involved, and it seems like they’re really digging into it, but there’s still such a lack of information. It’s so crucial for those in the local community to speak up if they know anything. Silence only helps the perpetrators get away with it. Let's not forget the toll this takes on the whole area, and the impact on families living in fear or uncertainty. Keeping Jalen, his loved ones, and everyone affected by this ongoing violence in my thoughts. Please, if anyone knows something, consider reaching out to the authorities.
