I was reading about Jalen Tyler's case, and something that's been sticking in my mind is the lack of street surveillance footage or eyewitness testimonies that can clearly identify the shooter. Given it happened around 3:30 in the morning in a neighborhood like University Village, I would think there might be cameras in the area, whether from businesses or traffic lights. The lack of concrete leads is so frustrating, both for those hoping for justice for Jalen and for the community dealing with ongoing violence. It's hard to imagine what Jalen's family is going through, knowing that the person responsible is still out there. I hope anyone who knows anything feels compelled to come forward. It’s a small act that could mean everything to his family.
