Hey everyone, I've been following Mieya Sims' case closely, and I wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind. According to reports, Mieya and the 22-year-old woman were standing in an alley when the tragedy occurred. I keep wondering about the importance of that location. Could it have any connection to the shooter or maybe serve as a regular meeting spot for the community? Standing in an alley at that hour might suggest they felt comfortable or familiar with the surroundings, which makes me think this could be an important aspect of the investigation. It’s gut-wrenching to think how easily someone’s safe space can become a crime scene. Has anyone else come across similar patterns in other cases or thoughts on how these spaces become involved in such incidents? Keeping in mind how much pain Mieya’s loved ones must be enduring, I hope discussions like these can ultimately help in pushing for answers and justice.

Hey everyone, I came across Mieya C. Sims' case recently, and I can’t stop thinking about how nobody has been arrested yet. It’s been over three years, and I can't imagine the pain her family and friends must be experiencing every day without any closure. West Garfield Park has seen too much violence, and it’s just so frustrating that these cases seem to linger without answers. Has there been any recent effort by the community or local organizations to push for more resources in solving cases like Mieya’s? I feel like there needs to be more attention and action to prevent this from happening to other families. If anyone in the area has been involved in any community initiatives or knows of any developments, please share. Mieya deserved so much better, and I hope there’s a breakthrough in her case soon.
