Has anyone else noticed the lack of surveillance footage or eyewitnesses in the area where Kevontay was killed? Considering the time of day and the location, it seems odd that there isn’t more information available from cameras or people who might have been around. If you've been near the 8000 block of South Ellis Avenue, you probably know how busy it can be, even in the morning. It’s so frustrating thinking someone could commit such a brutal act in broad daylight and just vanish. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for Kevontay’s family, knowing that answers seem so distant. If anyone knows something, even the smallest detail, it could make a difference. Let's hope people come forward to help bring justice to this senseless tragedy.

Hey everyone, I was reading about Kevontay Toomer’s case, and I can't help but think deeply about the challenges his family and the community are facing trying to deal with this senseless loss. It's truly frustrating to see another promising young life cut short, and yet, here we are with no arrests and no answers. What gets me the most is the time of the incident – broad daylight on a Sunday morning, around 11:20 a.m. You’d think someone might have seen something, anything, that could help lead to justice for Kevontay’s family. It must be so tough for them, holding on to hope that someone will eventually come forward with information. I also can't stop thinking about the person who drove him to the hospital. I wonder who they were, what their relationship to Kevontay was, and how they must be feeling now, having been with him in those final moments. It’s situations like these that remind us of the stark reality of gun violence and its impact on everyday lives, especially in communities like Chatham. Hoping and praying his family finds the strength to keep pushing for answers. Let's keep talking about these cases, share information, and support those working towards making our neighborhoods safer. If anyone here knows something or has thoughts about possible avenues for investigation, let’s discuss.
