I’ve been looking into the case of Thomas Forrest, and I keep coming back to the lack of surveillance in and around the area where he was found. It’s baffling how, in a city as big as Chicago, there aren’t more cameras in such vulnerable areas. Surely, that would offer more leads for the detectives working on this case, right? It's so frustrating knowing that this man's life was taken so violently and there's so little to go on. My thoughts are with his family, who deserve answers. I wonder if community efforts have been made to push for increased surveillance or other preventive measures. Anything to help solve Thomas's case and hopefully prevent similar tragedies in the future. What has the local community response been like? Any efforts to advocate for change or support his family?

I've been following the case of Thomas Forrest, and I just can't shake the impact it's had on his community and the people who knew him. It's chilling to think about how his life was ended so violently and without warning. One detail that stood out to me in all of this is the location — an abandoned building in Englewood. It's unsettling to think about these spaces existing right in our neighborhoods, where something so horrific can happen unseen. I also can't help but feel for his family and friends who must be going through so much pain, not only dealing with his loss but having no answers or closure about what really happened. The fact that there haven't been any arrests makes it even more frustrating. I really hope more people come forward with information, even the smallest detail could be the piece that police need. Let's continue to spread the word and hope justice is served for Thomas and those he left behind.
