Has anyone else here been following Erica Gibson's case? I just can't stop thinking about the aftermath and the impact on her friend, the one who accidentally shot her. I mean, this poor child not only lost a friend but also has to live with the fact that they were involved in this tragedy. I can’t imagine what that must feel like for a 14-year-old. I think it's incredibly troubling how these situations keep happening. It’s clear that securing firearms is a lesson that still needs to be learned. Has anyone seen any updates on what’s being done on a policy level to prevent things like this? I really hope there’s some ongoing support for the kids involved, their families, and the community as a whole. Sending love and strength to Erica's family and to her friend, who must be struggling immensely with this sad situation. ?
