I can't help but feel a deep sense of frustration for Devonte Scott's family and friends. I've been thinking about how this type of violence not only takes someone away from their loved ones but also leaves an entire community living in fear. There must be people out there who have vital information, but they haven't come forward. It's understandable that people might be scared, especially given the level of violence in some neighborhoods. But it's crucial for anyone with knowledge to speak up so the community can rally together and ensure Devonte's family finds the closure they desperately need. It makes me wonder what more can be done to protect witnesses and encourage them to testify. I sincerely hope that justice prevails and we see more community-driven collaborations with law enforcement to prevent future tragedies like this.
