Does anyone else find Steven Jackson's involvement suspicious, or am I missing something? I get that he was charged with obstructing justice and destroying evidence, but why would he move the weapon unless he was trying to hide something? It's just really unsettling to think about. It's possible he was scared and made a terrible mistake, but shouldn't there be more accountability, especially if his actions hindered the investigation in any way? My thoughts are with Antonique Alexander’s family and friends. Losing someone so full of life and potential is just beyond devastating. Really hoping the ongoing investigation brings the truth to light and provides some closure to those who loved her. Anyone else have any thoughts on this angle?

Did anyone else find it strange that Steven Jackson knew exactly where the gun was right after Antonique was shot? Obviously, it's already baffling that he removed it in the first place, but the fact that he was able to lead the investigators straight to it makes me wonder about his intentions. Was he really trying to cover it up, or was this a panic move? I can't even begin to imagine what Antonique's family and friends are going through right now, having to deal with this uncertainty and the loss of someone so full of life. I'm really hoping more witnesses come forward to help piece together what truly happened that day. Gun violence is such a devastating issue, and it's so important we find justice not just for Antonique, but for all the victims like her.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how we can support Antonique Alexander’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. It’s unimaginable to lose someone so young and full of potential. I didn’t know her personally, but from all the amazing things people have shared about her, it’s clear she touched the lives of many in her community. Has anyone heard about any community gatherings or vigils being held in her memory? I believe these events can really help in bringing people together to not only mourn but also to honor her life and advocate for change. The impact of gun violence is such a heavy burden, and I hope that her story will drive meaningful action in West Garfield Park and beyond. If anyone local has any information or knows how we can show our support, please share. We should come together to ensure Antonique’s legacy is one of love and strength.
