Did anyone else notice the lack of surveillance footage or witness statements in Benjamin Ortega's case? I’ve been following this tragedy closely, and it seems like in many other incidents, there's usually at least some form of video evidence or witnesses coming forward. It's really unsettling. Considering this happened in a relatively bustling area, I would have expected more concrete leads or public involvement by now. Seeing all the pain this community is going through, I can only hope someone finds the courage to speak up or some technological clues emerge soon. My heart goes out to Benjamin’s loved ones as they go through this unimaginable pain and waiting game. Let's keep spreading the word and hope that justice for Benjamin is just around the corner.
I’ve been thinking a lot about Benjamin Ortega and why it’s been so tough to get any leads in his case. I’m not from Chicago, but I’ve been following these stories about Little Village and it seems like community ties run deep there. It’s just devastating to think that someone in the community might have seen something and either feels too scared or too hopeless to come forward. It makes me wonder if there’s more that could be done to create a safe space for witnesses to speak up. Maybe some kind of anonymous tip system that really protects identities? It's hard to imagine the pain his family must be going through without any answers. If anyone here is from the area or knows more about community efforts that could help, please share. Benjamin’s family deserves justice, and I truly hope someone finds the courage to speak up.
