I recently came across Thomas Ramirez's case while researching unsolved disappearances from the '80s, and one thing that really stood out to me is the lack of specifics surrounding the alleged foul play. It's been over four decades, and usually, you'd expect some whispers or theories to surface, right? I wonder if there were perhaps any discreet investigations or if someone knows more but is too afraid to speak up. The Cahokia community in 1981 was pretty small, so it’s hard to believe that nobody noticed anything unusual around the time he vanished. Also, could it be possible that Thomas was involved in something that made him, unknowingly, a target? Just thinking out loud here, but it seems like some fresh eyes could really help shake loose any hidden details. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
