The night of February 14th began with an altercation at the Magnolia Café, an
incident that would spill over and escalate with deadly consequences. The dispute continued at a lounge on McCalla Avenue, where the confrontation took a fatal turn. It was there that Sherwin Harris was shot and killed, the suspect fleeing the scene before police arrived.
