Do you know who murdered Dessie Seaton in 2020? In the early hours of January 24, 2020, the Knoxville Police Department responded to a call of a shooting at the Southland Square Apartments on Sevier Avenue. Inside one of the units, they discovered the body of Dessie Lewis Seaton IV, a 26-year-old Black male, in the kitchen. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Seaton had been residing in Knoxville at the time of his death. An investigation determined that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
