I can't stop thinking about the testimony from Quardreka Payne's family during the trial. It must have been incredibly difficult for them to relive that day in court, but their courage in speaking out deserves to be acknowledged. Sharing those painful memories can hopefully shed more light on the reality of domestic violence and the urgency to address it. My thoughts are with them as they continue to navigate life without Quardreka and Cael. It's a grim reminder that we need to look out for the signs in our communities and extend support wherever possible. Their strength in pursuing justice in such a dark time is truly admirable.
