Living in the Chatham community, I find it terrifying how cases like Almonte Kizer Jr.'s are still unresolved. I can't imagine the pain his family is going through, especially with the lack of answers and closure. It's unsettling how these incidents occur, and yet, justice seems so far out of reach. The street where this happened isn't just a crime scene; it's a place where people live, work, and walk every day. It's high time our community comes together to demand more from the authorities. If anyone knows anything, even if it might seem insignificant, please come forward. We owe it to Almonte and his family to find out what happened and bring those responsible to justice. Has anyone heard any updates on the surveillance footage from East 79th Street on the night Almonte Kizer Jr. was shot? I’ve been following this case closely, and it seems like video evidence would be crucial in piecing together what happened.
