Has anyone else wondered about the unusual location where Mike Nafar's van was found? Augusta is a bit off the beaten path from Wichita. It's puzzling why someone would abandon and set his van on fire there, especially when other places would have been more convenient for someone looking to disappear quickly. The fact that the tools were left in the van is even more bizarre. It seems deliberate but aimless, almost like someone wanted to buy time or throw people off track. Anyone familiar with that area back in 1983 who might have insights on whether it had any significance? Did it have any known reputation or connection to Mike? It's just strange and unsettling how things played out that day.
