Has anyone else looked into the detail about the horse? It's so puzzling to me. ? Was there any specific reason why Walker and Taubert used the horse-buying ruse to lure Bud Branton? I mean, was Bud known for being into horses, or was it just a random choice by the culprits? It seems too specific to be an arbitrary decision! If Bud was into horses, maybe he had mentioned to someone that he was looking to buy one? Or could they have known each other from some horse-related activity? I can't help but think there's a missing connection here that was never explored. Anyone else have any thoughts or theories?
