In the copper-mining town of Miami, Arizona, the life of 46-year-old Deputy Sheriff Charles Sinclair Wood came to a tragic and violent end on a Monday in January of 1911. While attempting to arrest a suspect in an assault case, a struggle ensued that would prove fatal for the lawman.
