Does anyone else think about the impact this will have on the community around the Bradford Ridge Apartments? It’s so awful to think that Florencia Gomez-Mendez, simply walking home, was caught up in such violence. It’s a place already troubled with crime, and his death just highlights the neglect by those who were supposed to keep it safer. I can't imagine how his friends and family are coping with such a huge loss. It makes me wonder if other apartment complexes with similar issues will finally take notice and make changes. And what about the community? How can these residents feel secure and live their lives when stuff like this happens? Maybe this verdict will push for better security measures, not just there but in other high-crime areas too. Sending strength to Florencia’s family. No one should have to go through this. What are your thoughts on how communities can work on creating safer environments?
