I've been looking into old cold cases from Oregon and stumbled across the disappearance of Paul Eugene Housel. It's frustrating how few details are available after all these years. It's like he vanished without a trace. What stood out to me is the description of what he was wearing—lavender shirt and navy pants. That's such a unique combination, it makes me wonder if anyone saw him but didn't realize he was a missing person at the time. I'm also curious about the state of Portland's missing persons protocols back in '88. Did they have organized search parties or was it more limited? This case seems to have barely a whisper of details, but maybe just one person remembering something could make a difference.
