It's been over eight years since the tragic loss of Lester Parham, and the pain for his family and friends remains unimaginable. I keep thinking about the impact that this tragedy had on the community and how people rallied to support one another in the midst of such sorrow. Neighbors, local leaders, and law enforcement came together to discuss the ongoing issue of gun violence and ways to prevent these senseless acts. It was heartening to see people come forward with ideas and solutions, showing that even in the darkest times, there's a desire to create lasting change. I’m curious if anyone here attended those meetings or knows more about any long-term initiatives that were born out of those discussions.
