Did anyone else attend the candlelight vigil for Johnee Williams on December 10, 2015, in Savannah? It was a powerful and emotional gathering where people from all walks of life came together to remember Johnee and show solidarity with her family. The messages shared were so moving, and it was comforting to see the community come out to support each other in such difficult times. It’s heartening to know that Johnee’s story is not being forgotten and that we’re all trying to learn from this tragedy to prevent similar events in the future. Sharing resources and opening up these important conversations about domestic violence felt like a meaningful way to honor her life. Just wondering if others felt the same and how we can continue pushing for change together.
