I've been following Luis Garcia's case and can't stop thinking about the role the factory conditions might have played in his disappearance. I've read that working conditions at Rama Foods were pretty poor, especially for undocumented workers. It's tragic that these vulnerable individuals, like Luis, often have to choose between enduring these injustices or risking their safety to stand up for themselves. The fact that Luis confronted his employer over unpaid wages suggests he had reached a breaking point.
