Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Stanley Smylie, and something that's really struck me is the location of where his body was found. College Park isn't necessarily a stranger to crime, but the 2000 block of Knight Court is a pretty residential area. It's upsetting because this means there are families and individuals living near where Stanley's tragic end took place. I can't even imagine the impact this has had on the community and especially for the people who had to find him that night. It's baffling that despite the area being residential, no witnesses have come forward or were able to provide helpful information. I wonder if it's fear or if people genuinely didn’t see or hear anything. The lack of leads after canvassing must be so frustrating for law enforcement and heartbreaking for Stanley's loved ones who are desperate for answers. I really hope someone finds the courage to speak up or maybe the police can find alternative ways to reach out to potential witnesses that feel safe. Sending strength to Stanley's family and the community as they continue dealing with the aftermath, and hoping for justice sooner rather than later. If anyone has ideas on how to encourage people to come forward with information, please share. Every little bit counts.

I came across the case of Stanley Smylie recently, and it just really stuck with me. The fact that he was found in a running car makes me wonder if he was waiting for someone he knew or if it was meant to be a quick getaway. It’s unsettling to think about what could have happened in those final moments. The car being where it was is strange too—could it have been moved there by the perpetrator? It's sad to see loved ones left without answers and knowing there hasn't been much progress in six years is frustrating. I hope the community can come together to find the truth and bring some peace to Stanley's family. If anyone has any thoughts or theories, I’d love to hear them. Maybe someone will recall something helpful they might have seen or heard.
