Did anyone else see the community outreach event that took place in Olden Cooper's neighborhood last week? Although the case has yet to be solved, it was genuinely touching to see everyone coming together to honor his memory and push for justice. It's evident how much "Wheels" meant to those around him. The organizers brought in counselors to help support those dealing with the trauma of his tragic loss, and multiple neighbors shared heartfelt stories about his warmth and positivity. I sincerely hope these efforts not only bring comfort to Cooper’s family and friends but also motivate someone with information to speak out. Such a senseless act should not be left unresolved. If anyone has any updates or knows about upcoming similar events, please share! Every little bit helps keep the conversation going.
I just can't wrap my head around why anyone would target Olden Cooper, also known as "Wheels," in such a brutal way. Being wheelchair-bound since 2000, it's hard to imagine how he posed any threat to anyone. It's disturbing that witnesses saw the shooter but this case still remains unsolved. The image of Olden being shot next to a dumpster really haunts me – it's a stark reminder of how cruel the world can be. His family must be going through unimaginable pain.
It's truly baffling that no substantial leads have come up despite the efforts by Detective Fernhorn and the Atlanta PD. So many shots fired and yet, the suspect vanished into thin air. I hope more people in the area can speak up or provide even the tiniest bit of information that might lead to justice for Olden. Breaking the silence could be key. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward, so hopefully someone comes forward soon. My thoughts are with his family, it must be so difficult for them not having answers.
