Hi everyone,
I've been following the discussion on Tomorrow Milford's case and felt compelled to share some thoughts about the media's role in this. It’s quite troubling how cases involving young women of color, like Tomorrow, sometimes don’t get the same level of attention or follow-up coverage as others. The initial reports were sparse, and there seems to be a lot of ambiguity surrounding the nature of her passing.
I can only imagine the frustration and sorrow her family and friends must be feeling, not only in dealing with their loss but also in the struggle for answers. It makes me think about how important it is for us, as a community, to keep asking questions and advocating for transparency. Everyone deserves to know what happened to their loved one, and I wish Tomorrow's case had more clarity.
In the meantime, keeping her memory alive and supporting her family in whatever way we can could be a small step towards justice. If anyone has thoughts on how to bring more attention to cases like hers, I’d love to discuss this further.
Peace to Tomorrow and strength to her loved ones.
