It's so hard to wrap my head around how incidents like this unfold within families. Somvang seemed to have led a peaceful life—working at Shaw Industries and just trying to build his life here in the U.S. I can't imagine how painful it must be for his loved ones to not only deal with his loss but also grapple with the fact that his nephew, Bounmy, is at the center of this tragedy. ? I’ve been wondering about the kind of relationship they had before this awful event. Did Bounmy show any signs of aggression that were ignored or brushed aside? Was there any friend or family who might have picked up on tension between them before it escalated to such a dire situation?
