I've been following the trial of Jerry Nathaniel Wall closely and something that caught my attention was the victim impact statement given by Lacilla Littleton. It's hard to imagine the pain and loss the family must have experienced. Watching her stand up in court and talk about Roger, the kind of man he was, really humanized the tragedy for me. Her words were incredibly powerful and seemed to affect everyone in the courtroom deeply. It's such a tragic loss for their family and community. The strength shown by Roger's family during the trial is truly admirable. It reminds us that behind every news headline, there are real people dealing with unimaginable grief. Sending love and strength to everyone who knew and loved Roger.
