Has anyone else been thinking about the role the location might have played in Marlow Andrew Jones’s tragic death? The shooting took place right in front of the Studio Neighborhood Bar on 11th Street. I’ve read a few things that suggest this area can be pretty rough, and I wonder if ongoing issues around there could have contributed in some way. It’s just so difficult to think that a place that should be about fun and community could end up being the backdrop for such a tragedy. I can’t even imagine what Marlow's loved ones are going through, losing someone so well-regarded and cherished in such a violent manner. Has anyone come across info about any safety measures being taken or increased police presence since the incident? It feels like more should be done to prevent anything like this from happening again.
